MACH VS-2 SP

The MACH VS-2 SP is the larger "super precision" turret mill, with an ISO 40 spindle, a 1500mm table, 1000mm of X travel and powered rise and fall on the knee. Like the VS-1 SP it has the gloss black livery and polished aluminium head.

It has a dovetail X-axis with box Y and Z slides, Turcite B on the ways and gibs, a hardened and ground table and T-slots, nickel-coated lead screws, and an EVS Yaskawa spindle inverter that gives infinitely variable speeds up to 4,200rpm (5hp).

Its accuracy is second to none for a turret mill: for example, spindle taper run-out of 0.003mm against 0.005mm on standard machines.
