Description
The MACH MDS 845-8T "Spider" has fast become a firm favourite with component manufacturers. It combines the ease of a DynaPath-controlled toolroom mill with an integrated 8-position tool changer and a full safety enclosure, for exceptional performance, productivity and process efficiency.
It has 800 × 400 × 500mm travels, a belt-driven BT 40 spindle (8,000rpm, with a 12,000rpm direct-drive option), Yaskawa digital drives and a 2.8-second tool-to-tool change.
The DynaPath WinDelta control has a 15.6" LCD touchscreen and accepts programs by USB, Ethernet or wireless. It can be programmed conversationally, from DXF or in ISO/EIA G-code, and has a built-in DXF editor, 8GB memory and 1000-block look-ahead for smooth 3D contouring.
