Description
The MACH MDS 845-S-24T is a compact production vertical machining centre built on the MDS 845 platform. It adds a 24-position side-mounted tool changer with fast changes (3.8s tool-to-tool, 8.6s chip-to-chip), a direct-drive 12,000rpm spindle with chiller, through-spindle coolant and a swarf conveyor, all as standard.
It shares the MDS 845-8T's 800 × 400 × 500mm travels, rigid build, Yaskawa drives and full safety enclosure.
The DynaPath WinDelta control has a 15.6" LCD touchscreen and accepts programs by USB, Ethernet or wireless. It can be programmed conversationally, from DXF or in ISO/EIA G-code, and has a built-in DXF editor, 8GB memory and 1000-block look-ahead for smooth 3D contouring.
